Owners and staff were very hospitable and accommodating. The room had splendid views of the garden and canal, and the beds were comfy and clean. The breakfast was freshly prepared, tasty, and there were plenty of choices. The breakfast room had posh cutlery and excellent service.
The bathroom door needed updating and the lock didn't work, but it was the only fault I could find.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The bed was comfy and the shower was good. The breakfast was pre-ordered and well-organized. The food was tasty and there was plenty to keep us going for the morning.- The B&B had a friendly welcome and the staff made us feel very welcome.
There was limited parking available, which made it quite difficult to find a spot. The central location meant that we were often disturbed by the noise from nearby pubs during the night.

The B&B had a homely atmosphere and a beautiful garden that sloped down to the river. the breakfast selection was good and well-prepared. the location was convenient, with plenty of walks to do nearby and restaurants that served delicious food. the friendly hosts ensured a comfortable stay.
The rooms could use some refurbishment as they looked a bit tired. since you come to this area to explore rather than stay in your room, it didn't affect our overall experience.

The owners of the hotel were incredibly friendly, helpful, and efficient. They made us feel very welcome and provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants. The breakfast at the hotel was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety of choices and freshly cooked meals. The location of the hotel was ideal, within walking distance of a variety of restaurants and shops.
The bins weren't emptied during our three-night stay, the bathroom and toilet weren't cleaned, and the cups and glasses were not washed. the TV in our room had limited Freeview channels and there were no instructions on how to retune it.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and provided a cozy atmosphere. The breakfast was outstanding with delicious local produce and excellent attention to detail. The owners were welcoming and accommodating, going as far as providing a lounge area for us to enjoy our wine. The location was fantastic, with easy access to the nearby Red Lion pub and the Crich Tram Museum, making it an ideal choice for a relaxing weekend or mid-week getaway.
The lack of air conditioning meant that we had to keep the windows open, which resulted in some insects entering the room. The stairs posed a challenge for those with mobility issues, and the double bed size was smaller than what we are accustomed to, making a switch to king-size beds worth considering in the future.

We had an amazing time during Christmas at this hotel. The staff made us feel right at home and were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect, with everything we needed within walking distance. We loved being able to park our car and forget about it for the whole stay. The bedroom and sitting room were both very comfortable and cozy, creating a wonderful atmosphere. We also enjoyed the fact that there were plenty of books available for us to read and get to know the area better.
The breakfast was not up to par. The cooked breakfasts were below our expectations, with the bacon being rock hard and dry.
